“A no-nonsense guide to two very popular web frameworks. Very relevant in 2023.”
A book that teaches you how to combine the forces of Angular and Wordpress.
“Angular & Wordpress” is a book with clearly defined steps of progression which clarifies quickly how best to join up these two frameworks.
Statistics repeatedly reveal Wordpress to be the most popular content management system (CMS) in the world of the internet, even now in 2023. Starting out as a platform which allowed non-coders quickly set up website blogs, it has evolved into a powerful all-in-one web development platform, underpinned by a huge worldwide community of contributing developers, and still thrives in 2023.
But caveat emptor. Wordpress was founded in 2003, and time has marched on somewhat.
The new kid on the block is the single page application (SPA), a relatively new way of doing things, and facilitated by frontend libraries/frameworks such as Vue, React, Angular and others.
But Wordpress still has enormous potential, as a backend framework, which modern SPAs are not. Unfortunately it’s not easy trying to dig out - from the official Wordpress docs - the best way to use an SPA with Wordpress. And that’s what this book clarifies. It fills that gaping gap. My SPA of choice is Angular, for its completeness and flexibility.
